Are you undecided about where to spend your Hogmanay?  Fighting in the groupchat about which tickets are really worth it?

Well, this is DECKED.’s comprehensive guide to welcoming 2026 in the capital city to save your stress and start your celebrations.

When the magic gift of a 5am license is bestowed in Edinburgh, you don’t want to miss it. The first recommendation is somewhere no one would struggle to spend the whole night (and the early morning.)

The Bongo Club. A night of Drum n Bass and Jungle, a more unexpected and warmer sound to escape the cold and busy streets of Edinburgh and dream away to what summer 2026 offers. Headlined by Dillinja, a veteran DJ of the Drum n Bass scene brings genre pushing beats bound to get you dancing. In the second room, Botanica Soundsystem will be keeping the energy high and the night will feature many Edinburgh-based artists throughout.

Cabaret Voltaire is hosting Scotland’s very own Mha Iri, known for her. One to watch in the Hard Techno scene, Mha Iri. ASLO and KMD,

The Liquid Rooms opens up the Warehouse to up and coming names like DART, Faster Horses and Lammar. If you’re looking for that big rave feel this New Year’s Eve, you’ve found your spot at The Liquid Rooms.

The Mash House sports 4 rooms for this New Year’s. If Techno, Electro, House and UKG are what you want to hear, head to room 1. If it’s Jungle and Hardcore that gets you moving, room 4 might be for you. If it’s everything in-between, then The Mash House is the place to be, RnB, Dancehall or Grime – they’ve got it. To add to these incredible sounds, it’s a “100% Scottish and local lineup” so spend your Edinburgh Hogmanay, with Edinburgh.

La Belle Angele. Samadia will be hosting your New Year’s Eve with sounds like Afro-electronic, Funk, Garage and more. Guests like Edinburgh Samba School and DJ Still Dre will bring you sounds from Latin America, the Middle East and Africa with a carnival beat and rhythms bound to get you dancing.

Leith Arches will be featuring DJ Kid this New Year’s Eve to bring club classics and Mistersmith for all the House lovers. The two-tiered venue will fill all your big rave needs, and a great chance to venture into a different part of the city if you’re a Cowgate regular.

The Biscuit Factory brings the big sound this Hogmanay. Female collective, Femmergy, will be bringing you Garage and Pop all through the night. Hosted by Groundskeeper Fanny, The Biscuit Factory will get you dancing and keep you smiling straight into 2026.

The Caves. A name that needs no introduction, FLY, will be hosting NYE at The Caves this year. Headlined by Lockedlead and Papa Nugs, you’ll be getting all your House needs filled. Locklead, from The Netherlands, has worked across the globe and will be bringing his blend of Funk, Cuts and more to deliver a night you won’t forget. Papa Nugs is a UK based artist who traverses genres like Techno, Trance and House.

People’s Leisure Club is a recent addition to the Edinburgh club scene (in a new venue!) If you’ve not had the chance to check it out yet, when is a better time than the last night of the year. Collective, LIKE THIS, will be providing a genre-blending night of boundary pushing sounds along with the original roots of electronic music reading to accompany you into the New Year.

Sneaky Pete’s will also be open until 5am this Hogmanay, featuring a line up of its very own staff! Sneaky Pete’s is a world renowned venue for those in the dance music scene, hosting DJ’s like ? ? and ? over the years. The intimate, tightly packed space is the place to be if you’re seeking a tight-knit dance and to get a bit sweaty this New Year’s.
